Privacy Policy

What Plivka Does

Plivka is a photo editing app. It imports images selected by you, lets you edit them locally, and exports finished images to your device gallery or Android share targets.

Data Handled On Your Device

• Photos and image files you choose to import or edit.
• Project records, edit settings, edit history, masks, transform settings, export preferences, onboarding state, and UI preferences.
• Basic image metadata when available, including file name, dimensions, camera make/model, capture date, and EXIF information.

Local Processing

The current app processes photos on your device. Plivka does not require a Plivka account and does not upload your photos, projects, or exported images to Plivka servers.

Photo Access

Plivka asks for Android photo or selected media access so you can browse and import images. You can change this permission in Android settings. The Android system picker may still work even if broad gallery access is not granted.

EXIF and Location Metadata

Plivka can read EXIF metadata from imported images and stores a small subset locally for project and gallery display. Location (GPS) metadata is excluded from exported files by default; you can opt in per export if you want coordinates included. You can also turn off general EXIF preservation before export if you do not want any metadata included in exported files.

Storage and Sharing

Local project data is stored in app storage using Android database/preferences storage. Exported images are saved through Android MediaStore, usually under Pictures/Plivka. When you share an export, the destination app or service handles that shared file under its own privacy policy.

Third-Party SDKs

• Plivka does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or Plivka user accounts.
• Plivka uses Google Play Services, Google ML Kit (Subject Segmentation), Google MediaPipe (Face Landmarker), and on-device TensorFlow Lite / LiteRT to power smart masks, scene detection, and AI retouch. This image analysis runs entirely on your device — your photos are never uploaded. The only data fetched over the network is the ML Kit segmentation model, downloaded once from Google Play Services; the other models are bundled in the app.
• If our use of third-party components changes, this policy will be updated.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Plivka offers optional premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payments are processed by Google Play; Plivka never receives or stores your payment card details. You can view, change, or cancel a subscription at any time through your Google Play account.

To unlock and restore premium access across your devices, Plivka uses RevenueCat as a purchase-management provider. RevenueCat receives an app-generated identifier that is not tied to your name, together with your purchase and subscription status. It does not receive your photos or edits.

Children

Plivka is a general-audience photo editor and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

• Revoke photo/media permissions in Android settings.
• Delete exported images from your gallery.
• Clear Plivka app data or uninstall the app to remove local app data stored by Plivka.
